A Living Artwork That Grows With You 🎨✨

What if art could evolve, not just in one place, but everywhere it's displayed—shaped by the people who interact with it? That’s exactly what ‘Connect’ is.

It’s a public, inclusive, social artwork—one that grows over time as people interact with it. An interactive artwork that changes as you interact with it. And remembers everyone’s interactions.

Art that evolves, over time . . .

What Happens?

Once a point is added, a line is drawn, from the last person’s contribution to yours. As people collectively interact, more and more points synchronise, connecting us through the artwork. And the camera adjusts to highlight each person’s contribution.

The artwork expands and evolves with every person’s contribution, growing over time—whether displayed on a screen at an event, gallery, hotel, or embedded on a webpage. Wherever it’s showcased, Connect reflects the collective participation of its audience, visually representing our shared connections.

The video below shows the connections, already made. There were 1,305 interactions made by November 2024. 👇

Artwork Concept

At its core, Connect is about connection itself—the links that bind us, fosters understanding, and encourages collaboration. By taking part, you’re not just viewing art—you’re actively shaping it.

This video shows people expanding the artwork on their phones at Culttech Association’s Arts & Culture event in Vienna, November 2024, on a 20m x 8m screen.
